Get to know Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) Ship Management Services

JAKARTA – PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI), a subsidiary of the Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi (HITS) Group, continues to strengthen its role in the field of energy distribution, infrastructure, and the port & maritime ecosystem in Indonesia.

One of HUMI’s business segments is ship management, operated through its subsidiary PT Humolco LNG Indonesia (HLI), with a focus on managing LNG vessels.

“Operations for this segment are handled by PT Humolco LNG Indonesia in collaboration with our principal, Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd.,” said HUMI President Director, Tirta Hidayat.

Currently, almost all LNG vessels managed by HUMI through HLI are tankers transporting Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The services offered through this business segment include:

  1. Ship Maintenance
    HLI provides maintenance services for customer-owned ships, including inspections of the ship’s hull, cargo hold system, machinery, and onboard equipment.

  2. Manning
    HUMI through HLI also provides professional manning services, supported by certified maritime personnel recognized by international certification bodies.

  3. Vessel Seaworthiness Certification
    HLI assists customers in fulfilling requirements for seaworthiness certification, ensuring compliance with SIRE, TMSA, ISO 9001 for quality, as well as ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 for environment and safety.

“Currently, HLI’s ship management service is responsible for managing several LNG fleets owned by PT GTS Internasional Tbk (GTSI), such as Ekaputra 1 and Triputra vessels,” Tirta added.

Beyond group-owned vessels, HLI also manages one LNG vessel belonging to Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd. and one Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) owned by PT Jawa Satu Regas (JSR), namely FSRU Jawa Satu located in Cilamaya, West Java.
